I'm in Daytona the first and 2nd weekend in April, riding most days at the zone. Might be able to sneak away to the spot one day if anyone wants to ride then.
Rickters will float just about as good as a SJ when swamped in salt water. I have never sunk mine, but helped drag in a swamped FS/FR2 in daytona 2 or 3 years ago. Adding a pool noodle or two in the motor bay isnt the worst idea if you ride where a long tow could be required. The scupper on...
You should not really need a server unless you want to archive the video feeds. The camera has a flash drive port to save video too. Put a 32GB card should hold a week of video atleast on full quality. For remote access, you just setup a DYNDNS account. ($30/year). Then port forward the...

Florida PWC law:
A person must be at least 14 years of age to operate a personal watercraft in Florida...

$55 round trip for shuttle fromMCO to mainland daytona. My friends just did it last week and said it was easy and fast.
I wouldnt sweat it too much. There's always a million carts there. Just ask permission before taking one, and bring it right back. Most ppl are very cool, you should be fine.
Def bringing the web cameras and laptop. but being im staying at my house and not the oceanfront coral or grand seas going to have to hunt around for a room to set it up. I will stream the cam from the beach when possible. Once i get down there ill try to figure it out.
Its normally 61F here in NJ on July 1st.... so thats not too bad. Just hoping no real bad cold fronts come through and we can stay in the low 60's (vs low 50's) till the ride. While I am at it, 70F air temps would be nice too. LOL!
