If you want to support the hotel that is hosting us, then def switch reservations. Otherwise Grand Seas is a very nice hotel and you will have a great time at either. The ridezone is massive and spans both properties....so no sweat there.

How do you load a ski that sitting on the sand onto the cart with a jetlift? I have seen the cart in person but never saw anyone load a ski onto it that is siting on the ground.

Cut out a piece of aluminum sheet with a hole saw to fit where the flapper went. Dont remember the diameter off hand. Then drilled it out to match factory scupper screws. @Breese08SJ had the material and did the super clean install while we turfed the ski. I know other guys did same thing...

I'd be interested in the type of motor you are talking about. I have an SS865 now, which is good power for surf, but rather mellow for flat. In a rickter which is very fun in the surf and fun enough for flat. I rode surf/flat almost 50/50 this year. I would not drop the $$$$ for billet...

Here is mine. Super simple install with the smaller surface mount versiplug. Works REALLY good, and ski can float upside-down for minutes before swamping. With the flapper my ski would have sunk in seconds.

Did you try swapping the coil with a known good one? Bad coil/wires will mess the epic up and make the ski run like crap with even the stock CDI.

I was down there last weekend but skiless. JD let me take the Franky FX out....man I forgot how hard FX1's are to ride. LOL! I am def going to spend alot more time down there next Oct. Weather was perfect and waves were decent EVERYDAY I was there.

Been there, done that....buy a complete ski. Even when you think you have it all....you forgot stuff....then when you get what you forgot....you forgot more stuff. Repeat this atleast 5-10x. Even if you are buying all the stuff used and cheap, the shipping alone will make it not worth it.
