    CarbonCorban's HPE powered RIP Build

    Rebuilt the Jet's side of the Carbs this weekend, and added a set of new 1.5 Needle & Seat to each. Tested popoff and both are at 30psi, so perfect. I am having a little trouble with the fuel pump side and the little check valve rubber plugs, anyone have some tips or a good youtube video for...

    That is a great idea, I might have to steal that. LOL

    Not a build update, but picked up this beauty this weekend. 2006 Honda Aquatrax F-12x Turbo and two place trailer (along with Seadoo which I am getting rid of and putting the RIP in its place). Going to take her to the lake this weekend for a water test, but she is pretty clean. I have never...

    CarbonCorban's HPE powered RIP Build

    Thanks man, trying to be as ready as possible for when my hull arrives. I didn't inquire about the epoxy, and what the goal of doing it is, but Holeshot recommended it. I sent my intake and exhaust manifolds to him for porting, and he said he was going to epoxy it for me. However, my intake...

    Any chance you could link me to this? That looks really nice.

    Yessir. I think it's supposed to be 22psi but I'll have to ask Holeshot. I think the issue with the popoff is I have a 2.0 N/S and so the 65g spring was for 1.5 N/S

    Testing pop-off tonight, and it appears my needle and seats are leaking, and only popped at 18psi. So going to order a rebuild kit for each, and do a complete rebuild. These were supposed to be on a fresh rebuild, but I guess I better be safe.

    The Epoxy that was in my intake didn't survive the powdercoating heat, so had to redo. I came up with using some foam in the runner, then filled it up, let it cure, and then sanded it flat. I had to burn off a little of the left over foam, and then scrape it all clean, but came out pretty cherry...

    Jetmaniac & Holeshot (HPE) - A+++

    @JetManiac -- I am sure there isn't a need for more positive feedback, but I ordered a medium sized order from Chris last week. Arrived very quickly, got a free tshirt, and everything was well packaged and overall excellent quality. All this is normal from what I understand and everyone is used...

    John, we will chalk it up to a "learning experience" which I have had plenty lately. :)

    John, I never saw that warning on your website and I just checked, still don't see it. Navigated to Watcon.com > Fuel System > Carb Adjusters > LOW speed with tbar Description on your site: These are needed when you are moding your SJ, as the original screws are behind a brass plug, and cannot...

    Decided to add some quick disconnect to my stator wiring. I talked to a couple people who said they did it, and I don't see any real reason not to. Flywheel installed.

    Well, thanks guys for the heads up. I appreciate that, I am sure I would have been fighting with them without knowing that. Much appreciated. @hornedogg79 -- Can you link me to these extreme throttle adjusters? I definitely need something for adjusting.

    Threads are a perfect match but the point looks longer and different taper. They do thread in perfectly though and "seem" like they would work. Are these the same ones you're used to seeing?

    Do you mean the profile into the Carb? I did not pay close attention but will check this weekend when I test popoff. I got these from Watcon direct so I hope they work as they weren't cheap.
