Alot of aftermarket triggers will reduce the pounds of force required to pull them back, as well as reduce the length the trigger travels before it fires.. technically this increases the rate of fire in a semi automatic rifle. And a technicalitie is what put people in prison for using a pistol...

Guys, the bill isn't about bump stocks, Its anything that can "increase the rate of fire of a semiautomatic rifle" so it could literally be anything that makes your weapon "shoot faster"

This isn't just a ban on bump stocks, as far as I'm concerned bump stocks are useless and just a way to blow money faster. This is a ban on anything that "increases the rate of fire" on any semi auto, the wording is too vague.. So for example a lighter trigger can increase your "rate of fire"...

I don't know if anyone here has heard of this new bill that's being pushed "HR3999" Its supposed purpose is to ban bump fire rifles, but is worded so vaguely it could effect all semi automatic firearms... Not sure how effective these petitions are but...
