Just some quick information... I was able to obtain a FULL NC registration with NEW HIN's numbers for my BOT... For those that live in North Carolina it can be easily done... Titled as a 2015 Tigercraft Aquabot... Legal and ready to rip... !!!
If the weather looks good it should not be of any problems... I need to put new bearings on my trailer and some new treads... It would prob work now, but, I would hate to have a tire blow on the way down... !!!
I was trying to and did it, but, from not riding in 1 year and getting smashed after my first and only fall was like wrestling a sumo wrestler... Had a freaking blast and I know I will love this ski... !!!
Look under Tommy Rockets Aquabot Build and you will see... Use the search bar on this forum... Long story short... I did not ride for 1 year... and rode at Sebastian Inlet, Florida with some major wind and surf... Got my ass handed to me, but, rode great for 15 minutes... Then I was done...
I finally got to ride my BOT for 15 minutes at Sebastian Inlet, Florida... These are AMAZING SKIS all the way around... Handled great... Turned on a dime... Tracked straight and extremely stable... Awesome skis... !!!
Gave my steering a good 10 minute side to side motion in my shop... Loosened up nicely but still tight and ready for round 2 of rippage when it warms up here in North Carolina... Feels great now... !!!
This is what I was thinking as that oring has resistance... will rip when it gets warmer and post some replies... felt good for 15 minutes and as I remembered felt great while in use... it is def lubed up so we will see... !!!... toooo sloppy is not good either so if it loosens up some it will...
For 15 minutes... I had a reputable shop install it while I was in Lima, Peru... it just feels tight... today I will mess with it to see if it loosens up... Maybe it was bolted down to tight, but, unsure if this is the issue because I did not install it or see how it gets put together...
I am also using the new Blowsion pole with OVP steering.... Def a sweet set up, but, my OVP steering has a tight feel... ???
Disconnected the steering cable so that is not the issue... Was installed by a reputable shop as well...
Is this normal as I was expecting a buttery easy to turn set...
I also want to add:
A big thanks to Jetmaniac, Thrust Innovations and a few other suppliers for their valued input and service... You will not go wrong using these 2 major ski outfits... !!!
