I was not sure if the silicone spray was going to work as I did not think it would penetrate inside of the threads... sprayed it big time... left... came back and whacked it... first swing... Midshaft coupler was a PITA to get off... I had to grind that baby off in multiple places... The coupler on the motor I took a different approach which worked... Lubed outer threads around perimeter and let sit for an hour... Grabbed lunch... Came back to shop... got the cylinders on the...

I am thinking that once I sand the curved part of the hull where the shoe fits... it will lower the shoe which in turn will help line up with the grate and allow for a better pump install... I almost had it done today until I realized I needed more sanding, plus, I had no lunch and a super early...

[QUOT="ChadGnarly, post: 1591645, member: 7014"]We got the pump in today and it went really smooth. Virtually no shimming was needed, made the build go much faster. I am installing my pump set up and it is not going that smooth... looks like I have to sand down some more for the shoe to sit...

I'd rather turn wrenches then ever try to turf... Real time consuming BS if you want it right... Hat's off to the Pro's... Also... when they turf they will put padding where as needed in footholds... I am done with the padding... Had enough... LOL !!!

Transition complete / front foothold complete... The turf will be completed by the Pro's.... forget that mess... lol
