Use blue painters tape instead of mud. It will lay flat over all the cracks n crevices. Pop the part your making off of the ski/blue tape before the part fully cures becaust the blue masking tape comes off the back of the part easier. No need to make the bondrail perfect for the mold because...

You want to find a sheet goods distributer. Flooring places wont have it. Sheet goods sell plywood and laminates for cabinet shops.

And you wont find one of these in a laminate shop

Go into any laminate shop and you will not find weldwood. Wilsonart is superior. Home depot keeps it in the countertop isle. Sold by the quart or gallon.

The only thing that should be getting wet is your clear coat. Your color coat and your primer coat and any filler or glass or whatnot should never see or touch water. Fast n Final is just for pinholes. Its a minute ammount trapped inbetween inner layers.

At the stage your at I'd shoot a coat of 2K primer on it. It high build so it will naturally fill most of the pinholes. It will also give you a solid color so you can see how good or bad your work is. Then you would sand the primerwith a light grit sandpaper by hand to see the smaller...

Cant get the transfer design in billet that TPE has in cast. Also cast dissipates heat better. Seems most people pick bling over performance.

I havent lied first of all. But to try and stay on topic all of the parts you listed above in any combination with a capable hull will perform incredibly in capable hands. If you have problems flipping with any of those combos then practice more. Biggest concern with the above setups is tuning...
