Super Jet D cut or cut flush?

I did both, just don't expect to be able to carve hard anymore, but it is way better low to mid speed, and it will turn sharper under a plane. I ended up making another ride plate for the days I miss carving

    Another newbie question...

Definitely don't drop cash into the js, it will never satisfy. like stated above go with a superjet, they will BLOW AWAY any js. even an old square the 701's left mostly stock are like honda mowers, the just keep running and pulling

Ride plate question 2012 stock SJ

So after many test rides, I have slowly modified it to this, Ended up cutting off about an inch in length along with 2 D cuts to get the front of the ski to raise right where I wanted it to sit through fast corners. then I added 2 fins made entirely of flox and resin (strong as steel so it can...

Ride plate question 2012 stock SJ

So I D cut my stock superjet ride plate so I could get the back to sink a little more and have some extra pop. This worked great and it's a lot of fun, I noticed it wants to let go of an edge while hard cornering a lot more. (I know this ski loves to me leaned over to hold that edge on a 2012)...

freeride ski engines, help pick one out

well currently I have a 2012 superjet and it's 100% stock with the exception on a d cut plate and steering mod. I would love to eventually be doing tricks via flatwater, rolls flips you name it, the thing is, if I buy a rickter or a bob hull I think the all stock 701 will still feel on the edge...

freeride ski engines, help pick one out

Looking to some day save up and purchase some REAL power to put into eventually a Ricker (or similar hull) For all you freeride nuts on here, what would you recommend for engines, I'm 185 lbs and i'd be temporarily sticking the engine in a 2012 superjet until i can afford a nasty stunt hull...
