    What's this buildup?

So I did a bit of glass reinforcing on my ski, and it's been sitting about a month and a half and today I walked out and noticed this brown splotchy buildup on the glass. It almost looks like rust? Anyone seen this before? It wipes off mostly, but I wasn't sure what it was? BTW I know it's not...

    External Fuel Pumps

Yeah, that is true. But I would hope you would notice a performance change before that.

    Internal Fuel Fill

Thanks Rosie! I'll look into it, if it'll involve removing the sending unit to fill it, I might as well just hook the lines to it.

    Internal Fuel Fill

Any insight on where to find the fuel tank grommets?

    Internal Fuel Fill

The fuel pickup grommets could work, but finding a cap that fits those exact dimensions could be tough. Unless I just cap off all the pickups and leave it threaded on.

    External Fuel Pumps

To answer the question: advantage fuel delivery, possible gains. disadvantage: cost, pumpbing changes. Duals require a 5/16" feed line, mnost tanks are set for 1/4". A bit confused here, what do you mean duals require 5/16" line? Thanks for the response, I also saw it as an unnecessary...

    Internal Fuel Fill

Hi guys, I am currently running a 550 tank in my ski, and I was wondering if any insight could be lent to me along the lines of a internal fuel fill. Right now I'm having to unscrew and screw on the fuel pickup unit to fuel my tank. I want to do an internal fuel fill, but it seems there's very...

    External Fuel Pumps

I gotcha, so if one carb is slower than the other, the restriction allows it to catch up.

    External Fuel Pumps

I guess if one pump is weaker then the other one might not create as much as the other?

    External Fuel Pumps

But isn't there more modifying the return lines and everything with restrictors and stuff to make sure you get equal fuel pressure?

    Man, I need your job.

    External Fuel Pumps

Exactly, and you'll see people with 850's or smaller running external. Maybe it's just what they buy or find for sale.

    External Fuel Pumps

Interesting..its just strange, you see some running them with big engines and others with similar, even bigger setups with internal pumps.
