So I did a bit of glass reinforcing on my ski, and it's been sitting about a month and a half and today I walked out and noticed this brown splotchy buildup on the glass. It almost looks like rust? Anyone seen this before? It wipes off mostly, but I wasn't sure what it was? BTW I know it's not...

The fuel pickup grommets could work, but finding a cap that fits those exact dimensions could be tough. Unless I just cap off all the pickups and leave it threaded on.

I gotcha, so if one carb is slower than the other, the restriction allows it to catch up.

I guess if one pump is weaker then the other one might not create as much as the other?

But isn't there more modifying the return lines and everything with restrictors and stuff to make sure you get equal fuel pressure?

Exactly, and you'll see people with 850's or smaller running external. Maybe it's just what they buy or find for sale.

Interesting..its just strange, you see some running them with big engines and others with similar, even bigger setups with internal pumps.
