You may want to consider installing helicoils in that cylinder, the threads look haggard. Lordco will have what you need. Corrosion in the jacket is pretty normal if that boat was in the ocean. The pistons show almost no wash, I think your jetting is a bit lean.

If you can score a used TBM for that get it. I adjusted mine with a slight downward angle. When I pull the throttle lever it it follows the inside of my finger down as it wraps the grip. Very comfy!

It will be interesting to see how long the lifters last. I think the turf will want to tear on the underside of the lifters, and fold up where the lettering is. The jet trim mats have a similar feature however they almost span the entire mat. Good on you for trying something different.
