i have turned he flow control valve all the way in to dry out the waterbox as much as possible, but i still need to go down in a jet size.
still tickling the carbs as well.
ski is snappy as...
it may be 2 ply, yes, but is completely different material then silicone / junk that PowerFactor Provides.
you can't go on the ply count alone... i bought a silicone coupler with a highest ply count i can find and it didn't last long.
when i say "heavy duty" i mean it is crazy tough - like...
damn - we coulda split the 3 foot i was "forced" to buy.
all well - never hurts to have extra!!!
i hope to ride tonight, but if not i won't be able to ride until next week.
have to prep my bike and get ready for this weekend.

i had one of the first batch of PowerFactor pipes ever (when the switched over from welded sections to big stamped pieces).
maybe it was just first batch? don't know...
another reputable forum member confirmed they are complete junk as well and who recommended the 644 to me.
for real...
the couplers that come with the PowerFactor Pipe are junk - i blew the original one out years ago when i first took possession of the pipe.
towards the end of my ride on Memorial Day (28th/Monday), the exhaust manifold to chamber Coupler finally tore at the one end (I had...
Tem's mold for the Superfreak Hulls are "modular".
He can change areas such as the rear, handlepole bracket, area etc.
He uses clay in the mold to "seal the gap" when interchanging spots, then does his lay up... genius really.
This is a BRAND NEW hull. This was NOT my old one cut down.
My...
thanks man - appreciate it.
ahhh i knew you'd chime in eventually on this lol
i know you had issues in the front part of the motor... that has been addressed.
there is probably like 1 to 2 mm of clearance in the spot i made a comment on.
i should probably change my statement.
BUT, after...
but it is SO easy! heh
thanks Tem - i am loving the short hull.
i know you were a bit nervous to make it but i absolutely love how it handles.
glad i was able to get the conventional pole bracket style as well - SOOOO much easier to deal with.
will do - i am curious as well.
soon man, soon! hopefully i will be able to ride this week after work when the girlfriend will be around and she'll get some pictures and/or video.
thanks man but sorry, no one rides this ski except me (and maybe a buddy or two that put in some time to help me...
Overall, the weekend ending up being successful.
The maiden voyage was Saturday but only rode a half tank of fuel. Run into a few issues and wanted to address a few things... main thing being the battery location. Lucas was right... what a nightmare. I made another battery box really quick and...
see first post... 49mm full spectrums.
curse, huff and puff... a lot i guess :dunno:
hopefully i will not have to pull it to often but it will come out... just a PITA.
i bought a quick disconnect thing for it... so no screwing with the terminals (pun intended).
the charger this battery uses...
i am running out of steam... fast.
last night was the battery box creation. took a few blocks of wood, cut them to be the same size i wanted the battery box to be and nailed together. then wrapped it all in duct tape, followed by tin foil (now I wish i had used something else... this tin foil...

thanks man. hit me up and let me know!
the progress continues... been killing myself after work staying up until 3am wrenching.
turf = done. big thanks to Bobby Clouse for helping out on this. overall it turned out decent for a couple of amateurs... 26mm top and bottom of footholds. should stay in there nice and good (and comfy!)...
