pump mock up / pump shoe glue time. the best part - ZERO grinding on the bolt holes that mount the pump. this was a nightmare spot on the last freak. also the size of the "thru-tube" from the bulk head to the pump tunnel has been enlarged. the mid shaft housing shaft no longer rubs. used...

racing season has started (sportbikes) so this project has been put on the backburner... until now. it kills me to pay someone else to do something i can do myself (paint the hull), but my lack of "free" time has forced me to give the hull to a buddy to finish for me. hope to be getting it back...

The FS-1/2/3 are big boat compared to the Q8. I have never ridden an XFS so I can't compare to it. After owning a Superfreak (2 of them) and riding a couple Q8's, I will never go back to a "bigger" hull again. Smaller hulls are where it is at. I like the way they handle / carve (Superfreak)...

beautiful work dude - can't wait to see this thing on the water. as stock as Bobby's Q8 is, that ski is one of my favorites to ride. can't wait to try one with some more power.

mine is the original version, but -10" and a bigger handle pole bracket area. i was in florida as they were getting the motor installed in the prototype ski. saw it, but did not have the chance to ride it. would have loved to though - thing looked awesome.
