OP made a finned superjet plate for the SN. You can just drill the holes out for 8mm bolts, since sn used 6mm. That plate will work on all years too, since the 08+ uses the front 4 holes. SN plate uses 6 bolts

If I remember right , the water flow thru it is weird too. Has 2 separate water passages that have to be routed right to get correct flow

Just put a hose clamp on the rubber hose between the stinger and the waterbox. Adjust the back pressure with the hose clamp. That will tell you wether you need more back pressure
