Turn all 3 low speed screws out another 1 full turn and see ifit's better. 3 turns out max. Sounds like a lean bog to me. And every winter , since air is denser when its cold, screws need to be turned out.
If you had him make you a new one, I'm not so sure they are all that much cheaper than the real mcCoy and then you run the risk that corners were cut in the build process. I hear his quality has improved over the years and that's a damn good thing. I just saw the grey one for sale...... again

Somebody a couple hours from me was or is a piranha dealer or had a few. One showed up at my spot last summer. It ran like crap, but the build quality looked pretty good. A lot better than most of the junk I've seen. The guy got it for dirt cheap too. These hulls should be cheaper if not shipped...
