You could always wide tray it like I did in Project dance floor, albeit without the toe hold.
Layup is on page 5, I finish it and put the shoulders on toward page 13

It feels rich, like it just dumps loads of gas past half throttle and wont rev out. Its possible its a reed issue or other issue but as soon as I get some time I am ditching the T cases and putting that 61x together, maybe with enough time to get it on the water again this season.
Not a thing. I have been running a business by myself for most of the summer without help. Due to medical issues with the other owner my summer was nuked to orbit and it sits in the same condition as last month, just in need of tuning. If it keeps up I wont get to ride it at all before winter...
Altered Carbon is also really good if you are a scifi geek. Very adult and lots of nudity, gore, etc. Bodies are sleeves, like a car you can trade in, and your consciousness can be transferred between them. Great premise in my opinion.
Something to add about the FrogzSkins is that they have some flow resistance compared to an open hole. I added an extra 2.25 hole in the liner to account for flow resistance. I have no idea how much they choke the flow but you can see them suck in a bit if you dont have enough.
Its been in the water lol. It has a midrange bog I have been chasing down but I think im getting close. This other motor was always planned so Im plugging away at that too. Unfortunately I have been the only one running things at work for the last month due to an illness so it put a hamper in my...
while I had the reed pedals off I figured I would take some pictures of what is supposed to be so special about this wet jet intake manifold. As you can see the Reed stuffers protrude into the cages and seem to funnel the charge more horizontally. It's also a one piece design.
I hear you on the reed stops and loctite. If no one hops in here soon and says not running them is a bad idea I will just go off the instructions and run the included hardware. A dab of blue locktite seems like a decent idea but I did not think about the reeds compressing and sort of locking the...
I just got the reeds in today and disassembled the cages. The instructions say to omit the Reed stops but that doesn't seem too wise to me. Additionally it says you don't need loctite which also seems pretty stupid. Should I use red or blue loctite? Also is there any merit to omitting the reed...
Thanks for that link, that is awesome. Im guessing someone changed the jetting at some point a bit since the main was a 150. Its the kraze manifold and the 46mm carb for sure but not stock jetting it appears.
After some talking with @Quinc I am leaning toward 125/155 with a 2.0 needle and...
I pulled out the magnifying glass and even hit it with some blue permanent marker, it still looked like 107.5 lol. Im sure you are right but no matter how hard I tried to see 117.5 I always saw a zero instead of a one.
Edit. Also my needle and seat look like 1.5 to me. That is a bit low eh?
Gotcha. Sounds like that is a good starting point. In regards to the break in, would you fatten the screws up a bit extra or how would you go about ensuring it does not run lean off the bat?
I am looking for some starting specs for an engine I am building using a wetjet 46mm setup. Looking at the jetting that works in this thread for a single 46 it seems that 120/150 may be a decent starting point, I however just cracked it open and its 107.5/150 1.5ns unless I read the text wrong...
