The Protec is flat, the Jet Dynamics is concave. If you can find one of the super rare DG Quadra-fin ride plates, that would be one of the absolute best for the FX1 in my opinion.

The colors look great! And so does the splatter paint on the turn nozzle. How do you like that Solas double scoop grate on the FX1 with the 144mm pump? I sold my double scoop grate a while back, but I still have a single scoop Solas I plan on using on mine.
Sounds good. It never hurts to overbuild things like this. I figured it was just to further strengthen those larger gaps between the bottom hull and the tunnel. I'm going to give this a shot tomorrow. I got everything sanded and washed and cleaned and prepped today.
