it would be like using a he road king for freestyle motocross, not the right tool for the job, but if you want to make noise and go in a fairly straight line it would be fine
pump is a skat 148 non set back. It is in a 155 housing and NOT a 144. Is used a 155 pump seal,155 trim and a standard drive shaft, comes with a 17/24 prop that could use some love.$800 shipped. ( being in a 155 housing there is a lot of meat on it and it would probably hold up well in salt...
He had 2 prototypes made and they looked great but not sure if they will be going into production or not, but most just use a bargain priced wsm wearing and live happily ever after(also available at jm)
Hit up jm, if he doesn’t have one he can point you in the right direction, otherwise line Austin said trick gee on face book. Or push industries on Facebook or instagram
I’m sure they would work great for flat water, but I think they are a bit on the heavier side like the standard torrent 155 is. For the price I’d give the thrustone pump the nod. But if you are looking for ultimate flat water performance look into a push industries pump. Light weight and still...
Looks like the old thrust pumps, I think they had a couple different ones but I could be wrong. For the price they seem like a great choice for a boat chaser or a surf ski. They are on the heavy side but in those applications they are a great option imo
Well I will say those weapon numbers sound like it could be a decent option for you then. But more importantly I blame the extra weight on all that smoked meat ya Ben cooking
Also just out of curiosity how did you go from wanting an all around hull to wanting a flat water hull again? I'd say get an xfr and plop that 898 in it and live happily ever after. Spark plug approved to boot!
