oh sorry forgot to mention.... after welding it broke again a year later. i limped it out the rest of the season with a ski that just shutoff if i let go of throttle..... then replaced the carb.
did the screw break or the tab? i had ne where the tab broke off. had to go have it welded. or just deal with that if u let go of the throttle the ski shuts off.... lol
a 951 non direct injected sea doo run flat out will burn a lot of fuel in 2 hours. especially if towing a tuber..... but i wouldnt call that average.... and our gtx burnt about 1.5 gallons per hour.... so yeah math doesnt work on how it could dump 3 gallons unburnt n 2 hours but oh well. tree...
wow.... in 2 hours my ski burns about 1.5 gallons of pre mix.... i need to find a way to scavenge this extra 2 gallons out of my exhaust so my ski can run forever without a refill :) (i know what they are talking about im just screwing around)
we were tol that on the mixed flow berkleys we used to run.... but when it was switched from a 5400 rpm 454 to a 9000 rpm turbo 4 cyl and we got the prop and diverter angle dialed in she screamed. so while engineering may say yes i believe there are probably ways to at least bandaid it.
i ran around last year with a burnt orange bob and either a 750sx or my x2. sometimes the couch if friends were being lame. this year i will be out on a blue and black q8. usually pulled by a white cherokee or a white work van. if u see me stop and hollar.
ive never been bothered on duck or crescent. And where i ride in brighton they are so busy pulling over 14 year olds on couches they just wave to us and we have had one throw us a wake and chear us on (was pretty early on a sunday morning)... some people just have a stick up their ass. it sucks.
