Just sent my motor in to Loki customs for a rebuild. I know the last 3 owners of this motor and I'll be honest it's not been cared for well so it was always in my mind that it needed a rebuild.
Needless to say that was one of the Pistons when it got stripped down so it was close to saying...
I was guessing someone would say this and cutting the tray to this level wasn't what i wanted :-(
What about the Blosion insert method as an easier option, I just found this https://www.blowsion.com/dakine-footstrap-hardware-kit
How is everyone installing foot straps to thier Rickters? I am getting shot of my right ninja foothold in place for a Dakine strap for more surf riding use. Just want to know if a small drilled pilot hole followed by deep threaded screws will do the job or is it a turf off job? Any guidance...
Not sure on sizes but i'll double check. Yes it flips easier but its nearly the same weight and length so rolling it will be the same. I can roll mine off small 1ft surf with a 701 set up plate to plate.
Am i the only person that hates the Edge on here o_O...I've ridden 2 now and i find them very unstable, if i lose my balance just slightly it throws me off....Loads of people here in the UK are not big fans but the Americans seem to be loving them. I Ride a Evo with tubbies and in my opinion...
Loki Customs is in West London area about 30 mins from you. There's a lake there called West thorpe farm http://www.westhorpewatersports.co.uk/, There is a Freestyle lake there to so maybe a few people riding there.
So sat in KFC after a ride a few weeks ago there was around 8 of us all talking about lumps on the tops of our feet from footholds. The mojority had these, some worse than others.
I'm not taking pictures of mines as they're pretty bad .....So who's got em?
My buddy Phil Elliot has one in his Edge FR as his previous scupper flap on his Evo fell off. I have an early Evo and my scupper in still going strong so im not worried personally.
