No sorry dude i've not ridden one. The lads that have them seem to get on pretty well on them.

I run a 3/2 in summer and a 5/3 in the winter...this is UK weather, i'm told our weather is alot like Oregon? I do run hot hands in the winter tapped into my steering system then my grips drilled which helps heaps.

I've just changed my SV-1 for the Gen 1 FR2, before this i has a FR2 evo which i loved. IMO Rickter with tubbies are sick surf boats.

It would be interesting to kick this thread off again as it's been doorment for years.....Lets see what peoples opinions are now.

It must have had a different motor put in at some point, Probably an upgrade over a 650 which were less powerful, they almost look the same as the 61x case motor though.

Rickter or Tigercraft mate. Rickter in my opinion are taking the piss with what they are charging for a new hull these days (In Europe anyway). Tigercraft are made in the states so maybe a good option. I'm not saying Krash aren't good though, The predator rides really nice just behind on build...

Dude you need to get to an event and ride a range of skis. Everyone has a ski to their riding type, weight, set up etc. There's no answer to this question. Opinions are like a$$holes.......everyones got one. If you are a big geezer you'll be more aiming for a Rickter FR, Tigercraft SV or Krash...

It would be good for tigercraft to do the 45 degree angeled rails on the sv pro or next surf boat.
