Is the sport / market declining?

I would say the sport is alive and well. Standups have never been everywhere, you see them when you're looking :) I chase down everyone on a stand up. I can tell you 90% of the people riding one on the river.... I saw a guy with three on a trailer and I tried to follow him... Saw a chick in...

    Make the beachcart not float??

Same, I load my Jet-Lift from the handle side first. Drive right up and kill the engine, attach the rope and go.

    Water in ear

I started wearing ear plugs about 4 years ago. Now I can't ride without them. I still wear them when I have a helmet on because I still get water in my ears riding lake Michigan.... I swear by these.

550sx to 750 "All or Nothing" build

Did you try mounting the finger throttle on a different set of bars? Specifically straight bars? Just looks like the bars you're using have a bend and a bow.

    Mikuni main diaphragm restoration tip

I'll just use Synthetic motor oil. It'll make your old car leak, but then after two oil changes it stops burning as much oil and the leaks slow down.

    Mikuni main diaphragm restoration tip

This is good info! Will be worth trying on all the abundant outboard motors and their carbs. Plastic and rubber have a memory. It's amazing hitting some worn out plastic with heat, watching it return to it's original form and shiny.

Getting my fishing buddy out on the SXR tonight. He rides motorcycles and tried my ski 2 years ago. Can't wait to hear him complain about how sore he is. ....I'm still sore from riding Monday!

SXR 800/1100 owners Where are ya?

it was her first time going without me. They all had fun. OEM SXR Cylinders and Cranks are basically on sale right now($800 and $900). Kawasaki must have done another run of them in the past couple years. They were much harder to find when I rebuilt my SXR in 2019 with a new crank and cylinder.

    Kawasaki 750 running away..tricky spots?

Any air bubbles in your fuel supply can cause a run away. My SXR has done it to me when I get back running on Reserve and I try to clean out the water box. Check your fuel lines...and gas tank.

Help with a 750 running away?

bro, read what others are telling you. It's not a leak. It's probably your FUEL SUPPLY. Start at the tank and work to the carb.

....Facebook Marketplace, it makes craigslist look classy. The amount of people flipping junk, only to have the next clueless guy buy it and flip it for more. Wait till all the Biden money runs out.

I can make these from leftover 2x4s for free, and they'd be rock solid. Why even both with this junk?

SX/SXi/SXi Pro Old guy, new ski, constant porpoising/cavitating?

Lighter flywheel just requires more throttle input from loads. I remember that feeling... Check your impeller clearance. The 750 pumps have a rubber seal. Check it! 650 pumps get sealed in place with silicone. Comparing an SXR 800 to 90s Kawis is apple to oranges. They fixed all the...

    Bun vs xs engines

Motorsports are already dead, no I don't count UTVs lol. Look at 1/8 Scale RC Buggies. Electric took over, but Nitro is still alive and well. Now they all race on clay, no dirt. It's like watching F1 with jumps, so boring.

If you could go back in time and assist yourself buy your first ski, what advice would you give?

    1. Remove the excess Glue bonding the hull bottom and top. 5-10lbs 2. Block the front hood breather and remove most of the inner hood liner, keeping the rear area. Move the second breather to the rear of the hood like the other breather, and cut a second breather hole in the rear. With the fire...

Primer and Fuel Select Install - Aftermarket Hulls

99% of aftermarket hulls never leave the shore's sight. They can swim in. I would never give up having a reserve on my river runners. Saves your starter. Instead of cranking the engine to run the diaphragm pump in the carb, you can get fuel right near the carb(if you plumbed the primer...
