3d printed stuff will not hold up in the long run. This is all too real in the RC realm and other hobbies. My buddy just gave up on 3d printing because parts kept failing.
Sorry to hear about the pup.
Keep up on the build it's great to see the detail you're putting into this! I'm about to go sand some wood putty in the garage.
I went with a JSP Steering Cable.
Attempting to remove the old cable, the Kawasaki TS pump area doesn't have enough room to fit a 27mm Spanner with the pump installed. Thanks Kawasaki, typical Japanese engineering! Only need 2mm more to fit a spanner in there. The Hull is in the way. Maybe...
Woof, sorry to see and hear about your friend. I try to stay away from everyone when I'm riding. It's like Sitdown jet skiers want to be friends and I just run away.
Stand ups, I'll chase miles down river to say "Hello".
Wishing both your friend and ski Speedy recoveries.
DC over long distances can have significant voltage drop. Have you measured the 12 volt output voltage at end of the line? A lower voltage will take longer to charge the battery.
I'm looking at replacing my steering cable on my crusty trusty TS. Wondering if anyone has had issues with the SBT/WSM Steering cables?
It's not about the price. It's about the time it takes to replace the part and reliability.
Thank you
The cost of beach carts is largely the tires. No getting around that.
I have a Jet-lift and use it to get to Lake Michigan in Sheboygan. Works great, but they stopped making them. $600 was the cheapest I ever saw them for sale at the Sortie.
the NOCO batteries are LiFe, but they have intelligence built in... Do you even need a special charger?
My WPS/Firepower battery can charge up in 7 minutes or less at 20 amps with a standard deep cycle battery charger. The NOCO says it can take 21 amps max.
After market hoods don't count it either. An aftermarket carbon hood only saves 5 pounds over a stocker. 11 pounds was the claim by Trinity Composites.
