I hear you on keeping it dry. after backing in the water (brackish water) with the hitch hauler and getting my rims wet about 10 times i tried to rotate my tires and nearly had to kick it off the jack to break them loose.

this is what it looks like with no foam in the nose. probably just a couple inches lower then with it. it will float. though it will scare the crap out of you when it nose dives as quick as it did.
