Dibs on a square!...Preferably the one that has the oneway. Need to build me a waterwater ski for the summer rapids.(It is going to get beat)
I will take what ever you got to go with the hull to make it as complete as possible. I got a motor but not much else.
Cool....Sunday was epic! Even after sinking my boat and getting caught in a rip-tide...In the fog... where no one could see me! I was getting pounded by some huge waves for what seemed like an hour. When I finally hit shore I could barely walk.
But I got the boat drained out and fired...
The stainless wear ring on my back up boat pump has swolen and froze the impellor. Was working great until it sat for a couple months. Is there a 'Back yard' fix for this? Or should I send it off to have a new liner put in.
Bruce rides the most f-ed up ski I have ever seen! Pole and steering so sloppy it's not even ridable. Things all cracked up I am surprised it even floats.
But he can ride the poop out of it!
I doubt we will see 20' waves. But if we do they can be very ridable. Launching off these waves is sketchy at best. However they can be great for 'surfing'. Which will be 50% of a riders score.
My spring looked just like yours. I put the spring in place by pre-loading one of the arms. Was a pain in the but to get lined up while keeping the spring tensioned. Hope that helps.
Cuong Son... He is still at Pismo camping out...No internet. He went to a cafe to post these pics. Wish I could take 10 days off and stay on the beach!
I will be out there Friday morning. Lets get it on.
I am using the blowsion spring with a stock bolt. I had to run washers to clear the hex ends of the XFT pole mount. I cut an inch off the bolt to center the bolt and clear the carbon nose piece. So far works great.
