I am really sad to read this. I had high hopes for this hull, and builder to take off and help grow the sport offering a hull at a great introductory price for those looking to get into freestyle. Who knows maybe it's just a learning curve and things can only get better. Sorry to hear about...
We still have one unit that has been flawless so I can't say it's junk. I just had a bad experience with an older one and an hx3. The one that works is great, and the concept is also awesome. I just wish they were more consistent.
Well most of the first gen ones died or were super picky on the rest of the equipment in the boat. Then if you look back at the people who tested the HX3 there were a lot of mixed reviews. Would you care to explain to me why we had 2 HX3 units and one worked in both boats and one worked in...
In my experience MSD is the way to go. I went back and forth with ATP and ended up losing money. They even charged me to ship back my "faulty" unit after they said there was nothing wrong. It didn't work in 2 different setups before I sent it in. Rather then cough up a replacement I got...

So to simplify let's say we are making a 2 piece mold of a glass beer bottle. Rather than gluing up a parting flange to separate the halves I want to use a box and pack sand around one side of the plug. I then need something self leveling I can use as a flange that can be poured over the sand...
The torrent is a 1 piece cast stainless pump and wear ring combo. The solas is just the stator section and with the reputation the 144 had I would bet most stay away from it. The maxx pump is a hand welded stator section and 1 piece stainless body with wear ring built in. In our demo boats we...
