May be worth a shot. As mentioned above the ski runs like new above 1/2 tank so I don't think there's a vac leak, air intrusion around the primer diaphram or some sort of carb issue. Certainly seems like a pickup issue. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if it's common.
Tank is venting fine. If it sits in the sun for a while and I take the cap off you hear a "woosh" as fumes escape. I'm able to blow into the green vent line into the tank with little effort.
I was wondering if it was a fuel draw issue, but then i'd think that would cause more of a sputtering or...
