Start searching and reading everything you can on the forum from impeller/pump tuning, carb tuning, exhaust tuning. Then start a thread with any questions and your ski specs etc.
Check out the zeeltronic ignition. You can adjust the timing to give you that bottom end power you want before it gets on the pipe. @Jr. sells them with customer specific tunes.
If real they are a great deal. However, make sure and compare to known real ones or email pictures to ngk to verify. *I ordered acdelco plugs from amazon for my truck that turned out to be counterfit. 30k miles and the plug gap more then doubled...
I have had good luck with a cone spring off mcmaster I think I had to cut it to fit though.. Problem is I ordered a bunch of different springs and balls and dont remember which ones I used. =/

Installing my new wax manifold and headpipe, figured I would check my fcv for any debris/sand etc and to my surprise found that the spring inside the fcv had rusted apart and broke in half. So check your springs before spring. :)
I have had good luck with having the uship shipper guys look over the item and send pictures of it then confirming its loaded onto the truck before sending over paypal. Not 100% but better then nothing.
