I am planning on bringing a box smoker and cooking wings Saturday afternoon as a contribution to the dinner. I would definitely chip in money for Catfish if you end up getting any . That’s some of the best I’ve had!
If anyone wants to come ride on Lanier we are going to camp on April the 18 th - 21st at shoal Creek campground site 8 water front. You can launch there with a beach cart or go to the ramp close by.
True . I’m going to keep my superjet and build something else too so I can try some surf riding. I took my sj to Daytona 2017 but it about sank and didn’t run well in salt water so that was a waist.
I’m still on a superjet so the 2nd wake is to steep for me a lot of times . I’m trying to pull together the funds for a newer shorter hull for next season. The only AM hull I’ve ever ridden was a krash predator and I liked it a lot.
You have to respect the 100 foot law and not get to close to the boats and piss people off. Then DNR won’t mess with you on Lanier. The 3rd wake back is usually the best .
I rode at jet ski cove a few times last year but the DNR was all over us walking the beach and looking in our cups and coolers . We never have that problem at Shoal Creek. And it’s only a 10 minute boat ride to LandSharks for good food and drinks. My boat holds 16 and I will have it out there.
I normally have a big camp out on my birthday April 18-21 if anyone is interested in coming out to ride that weekend. There are cruzers up to 60 feet on the lake
