I cleaned the clay out of the mounting holes with a tap, I can understand why some people have a gripe about how some of the plates fit on other skis. Every step I took made the plate fit different. had to woller out the holes on the sides a tad to get the bolts started, but it fits good now...

Agreed, my mold would have to be changed to go longer than -4.3, I doubt I will ever do that! Florida is long ways away to ride, just thought I could kill two birds going to AL. Sucks there's no surf! I guess my best bet is to make it over to Illinois side of Lk. MI in the spring, I really do...

I got to work on the ski a bit tonight after work, did a lot of grinding and fitting of the ride plate, also picked up some clean bolts. its a bi$ch keeping the threads clean, and working around the bolts. Then mixed up some Epoxy thickened with 407, hope to prime it this weekend and then paint...

Thanks guys, This is more work than I care to do, but it is do able, not opening up the tray was the tricky part! I talked to Tem about having one made like this, but it would have been a stretch financially, I think it is really gonna be sweet having a short ski for at the lake every Tuesday...

Also winter in MI makes you a bit crazy I think! This was well thought out and has been very times consuming, like every evening after work and all weekend, for about three weeks now!
