There is also a tiny fuel filter in the carb that clogs, mine was doing that, not near as bad but it was the carb filter

Ill try to find the paper work from the one I had, it was water proof. Like $120 to buy then $10 a month way cheaper then insurance

You can get lo jack or there's a few other company's out there that make them. I had one on my dirt bike. If it gets stolen you cal the company and they turn it on so the police can track it

Luckily my hulls have vins but I asked about aftermarket and they said no problem asking as I have a receipt or it is state registered theirs no problem since ther is a paper trail to prove it exists

Yeah my insurance asks me the value of the ski and insures it for what I claim it's worth. After market hull or what ever it doesn't matter as long as its registered in my state(Arizona)

Lol I know how that goes. I just spent all winter rebuilding my whole ski from bottom to top custom paint and all. Just to end up haveing to get knee surgery last week so I can't even ride my blaster this summer. Could of used all that money in my pre runner, and actually been able to enjoy it...
