Does anybody else run the comp pole on the rip and if so is it a good length?

I know I will have to work very hard and practice at it. I know it will not be easy, but just want to know if it is possible. I am looking into the 781cc from jetmniac, I'm gonna see how my plain jane 701 does in it and go from there. Willl be at Boyd alot this summer, hope to see you there!

Really? It looks pretty good to me? I really like the look of the comp pole, and can't beat the price with bracket, bolts, pole, chinpad

Yes I have taken that into consideration, and will be stepping up the motor when the money is there for it. Doesn't proper dome size make up for most of that power loss?

Anybody have suggestions for a good steering cable for this hull? I will be using an xmetal comp pole

Just learning them in small surf. I am at about 3/4 of a roll now, but if I try it off a bigger wave I'm sure it could be plate to plate.

So I had already cut 3" off the top, now I cut 3.5" off the bottom for a total of almost 7" off. I think it is perfect for me, because I am doing barrell rolls, but overkill for an average rider.

Also would I have to mod my steering and throttle cables if I went very short?

I have already chopped the top of my fx1 stock pole 3 inches. Want to cut off more now off the bottom for barrel rolls and flips. Wondering how much shorter I should go? I want it pretty damn short, but not sure how much.

So i was just outside the harbor, i have my ride plate d cut pretty deep. I hit a boat wake just to get some air not intending to flip at all, before i know it my ski is slightly inverted and an land on my back. Just need some nuts

I put a bike light on my ski lol. Looks like it will work great.

I made it very secure, I doubt it will get a scratch. I will let yall know.

I'm more worried about the top deck than the bottom. I drove to havasu and back before with no cover and it was fine, but since I will be driving through cold weather, I'm just gonna cover it with a tarp real good so no rocks/ice chips hit the paint.

I think I will put one on just to be safe, 1000 mile drive tomorrow!
