I started the motor and revved it up a few times, still scraping. It just makes a little noise, I think that if I ride it enough tomorrow it might clearance itself. Is there danger in riding it like this, will it ruin the prop or something?

just a little bit. doesnt get stuck but i can definetly hear it rub. doesnt rub all around, just in a couple spots so it clears, rubs, clears, rubs

My new hooker propeller is just barely rubbing on the ware ring, spinning by hand. My old prop did not do this. Is this normal? I cannot just replace the ring, because this is a 144 pump for the fx1 and the ware ring is modified.

Rode it with a wet wolf cone and new bearings and it was a little better but still not as good as the 122 w/prop and cone, will have a review of the hooker on friday.

I believe 08 and up superjet handle poles are exactly the same as the fx1, so you can also look for that.

I just got my hands on an extra 122 shoe, that I will bore out to 144 or as far as I can and put it in next time I have the engine out. Hopefully the the hooker will make a big difference.

It worked fine, little weird cause I didn't realize I could leave the steering ball upside down, so I change it to the other way and it caused the cable to ride high, but I will switch it back next ride and it should be fine, shouldn't have to cut any threads off.

it was a skat prop pitched at 11/19, is that high?
