Ride report. Holy crap. This thing is is a different ski. Bottom end is violent. I love it I cant wait to get my new prop on it. It hits so hard it's got me trying to get further over the nose to keep the ski hooked up and that's with my super short pole. It's great gobs of power everywhere...
Av gas 100LL. Is what I was planning on running. And the pipe isn't a true dry pipe it's a riva free ride. But still I would rather be safe then sorry.
Well I got the motor all buttoned up and a big thanks to Chuck at CPT ( @Nuklear6 )for my head work. Really looks good. If it will run as good as it looks I will be ecstatic.
I made a pole similar to that and the stock plastic bushings lasted one season. It has bronze bushings I got from a local bearing shop and it looks better and feels tighter we will see how long they last. They cost like 5 bucks altogether. I think I used 1" od and 3/4 Id. But I had to drill out...
My wife and I just had our second child a little baby girl. 7.0 pounds and baby and mom are doing great. I'm stoked so I thought I would share. Our first is just over two and he love to ride.
I think so but it will be tight. If I can figure out an easier way to bend them and keep them true I will make a couple more pair with a little less rise and more handle. How much does a solid straight bar go for? And how wide should it be?
Well the first set didn't turn out very good. I didn't quite have the bender figured out , but the second one I think looks pretty nice and I still have a few feet left to make a few straight bars or a couple more risers.
That may be the only way I do them. Can you get me some measurements. Maybe what you would like to see made. I haven't got to put my hands on any yet to examine and measure/check angles.
