What killed the forum? How can it be revived?

I know this seems like a joke sort of, but this is actually very true. How many times can a person post a new thread about how to convert a 650 superjet to 701?

What killed the forum? How can it be revived?

I saw this exact thread topic come up in a different forum I frequent so I wanted to generate a discussion here as well. I got out of skis for a couple of years, but have recently had a bit of an interest spike after purchasing some property on a lake. When I was participating more about 3-5...

ported engine theory. do I suck or does it suck?

    Try a 760 cylinder.

ported engine theory. do I suck or does it suck?

Probably because you can't take your superjet that was built specifically for extra hit & hookup, with parts that contribute to low and mid range response, and expect that to behave. Nascar to jetski probably not the greatest comparison for many many reasons. Sounds like you need a 760 cylinder...

ported engine theory. do I suck or does it suck?

I feel like most people have their engines built to purposefully obtain light switch, crazier throttle response. If you don't appreciate this type of power delivery & are riding to site see, maybe a built engine + mag pump really isn't necessary for you. Nothing wrong with that. You can mellow...

    Formula Jet Tote Opinions

Seems REALLY expensive for unwelded aluminum extrusions....

    Custom/Hybrid 2010 EME Q8

Does it still have the conversion plates? The aluminum brackets were never glassed into the hull, what you are seeing there is stock from EME. The Aluminum plates bolted to that.

    Superjet Hull, Maybe SXR

Starting to gauge the current market on any superjet hull, possibly SXR hull. Looking for something to spend some time on and build, condition doesn't really matter to me.

    3D Printing Jetski Parts

A couple guys actually printed an entire hull and glued together the pieces with intention to make it the plug for new molds. It was somewhere in Wisconsin. They brought the prototypes to the dells freeride a couple years ago and they looked downright AWFUL. I don't think anything actually...

    Anybody have a foil board?

Oh okay so you're behind a proper v-drive surf boat. I primarily ski, and I run a '94 MC Prostar 205, I just thought this might be something that would be fun to do after taking ski sets. I would probably buy a much larger front wing than you have.

2009 Yamaha Superjet For Sale - SOLD

Okay well in that case, you have a faked title. That is not an 08+ superjet.

2009 Yamaha Superjet For Sale - SOLD

There is no way that is a 2009. Somewhere between 96-2007.

    Anybody have a foil board?

Been really wanting to try one but I am nervous to drop cash on one that may or may not work behind a smaller direct drive. What boat are you using it on? What size wing you get?

    Lay up schedule

I think there’s probably more people on here than you think like running buoys. I’d love to read more about the design and construction methods. Or just throw some pics up.. I’d be surprised if it wasn’t well received.
