My riding buddy and I currently each have our own skis and split the costs of a Riva stage 3 RXP for a backup/safety/friend/GF ski. We rarely ride it however and usually our GFs just kind of putt around at 40mph. It usually costs us about $50 in gas every time we take the ski out and nobody ever...
I'm trying to find some black edge trim to go around the bottom of a carbon hood. It has a C-shape and just slips on without adhesive. McMaster only carries it in white and in 100ft rolls. Anyone know where I can get this stuff?
Thanks
Bought a new B-pipe for my build and was wondering if there are any good mods to do to it before I install it. I will of course be port matching the manifold to my motor but I've noticed that many people bore the manifold/head pipe? Anyone have more info on this? The pipe has a Mod chamber and...
$750? Wooo! Looks nice but the problem is I have a TIG welder and can make a beach cart rather easily; I just don't have the time because I'm trying to get my ski built for Wavedaze. I'm looking for something simple in the $300-500 range...
Is anyone going to have beach carts for sale at Wavedaze? I've been looking into buying one but shipping is expensive and I really won't need it until Wavedaze. I would like to pick it up on Friday if possible... if so, post prices/pics!
Thanks

What do you guys recommend for painting the engine bay? I'm thinking about using an epoxy primer...
We ride at Delaware mostly because it is so close, but also at Alum Creek and Erie. You?
I would have had the ski painted by now, but the timing chain on my 38k mile Evo decided to stretch and I had to spend all weekend working on it instead of the ski. Mitsubishi FML...
I'm working on prepping my ski for paint this weekend and had a few questions. I picked up 1.5 pints of Synergy Green (basecoat version) along with clear, hardener, and reducer. Will this be enough for an FX1? Right now I'm planning on just painting over a light grey primer but should I use a...
I'll try to get a scale tomorrow night; I started on paint tonight! Already purchased 1.5 pints of Synergy Green and associated fluids. Hoping I have enough...
Destructive testing is definitely nothing new and is the easiest way to find weaknesses in the product... there are plenty of videos of smaller MTB companies destructive testing $5000 CF bike frames on Pinkbike, I don't see why this would be any different.
Personally, any builder that did this...
