so I have the thoughts of a motor swap I have a 701 sn and I am chopping and rockering the sn but I was thinking about putting a 760 in it for it I plan on surf and tugs boat waves. Right now I have a 61x/62t 701 dual carbs bone stock. What are thoughts on 760 swap

So little update got this hull and the pole cheap to hold me over for the rest of the season has little crack but got it cheap so who cares looks like I'll be doing a chop this winter

Yes I have tried two different coilpack and boot ends and the top of head where the spark plugs go( bypassing carbs)

I don't believe that it's an aftermarket stator I could be wrong but I got it off the mechanic I'm working with. He is also stumped on this we had three books out

Yes I have tried three different sets of plugs and I'm getting a hot strong spark off the cylinders. I will pull stator off and compare to my old one

I am getting fuel. But if I spray starting fluid in the holes shouldn't I be getting come kind of combustion which in getting nothing. And that's why I am thinking that I'm not getting spark once plug are in but my cool pack is testing fine on the ohm reader

No won't cough at all just sitting there and cranks i believe that the stator is lined up. If the the kill switch was messing with it wouldn't I have no spark at all? But I will try this is the stator on the motor
