    Superfreak cooling lines.

The brass alloy we tested was near .0026" per year. The challenge with lab SWAAT test results are the variables that we have in real life. Actual alloy, oxidation layer, manufacturing process, actual sustained PH, wall thickness, etc all impact results.

I know this may sound geeky, but... Galvanic corrosion is not a significant problem with 316 stainless steel. We did some ASTM corrosion tests at work using simulated seawater (3.5% NaCl) and various current densities, and 316 performed well. The stainless tube I used has a galvanic corrosion...

    Superfreak cooling lines.

Thank you for all the ideas sent my way to help out. I decided to try the SS tubing first and got it to work. Zoro sells a manual hand held bender that worked awesome on that 1/2" 049" wall stainless steel. Now to seal and suture back up!

WPS have several sizes in the 240-290 CCA range, but like you mentioned I couldn't find exactly a good fit in my new freak, so I went with a Deltran 240 CCA and will be running TL. Was the perfect physical size. I wrote in another post that my WPS 360 CCA finished 2 full seasons without any...

    Superfreak cooling lines.

Old thread but issue lingers. I have a low hour ski, but some of the few hours were spent in Salt. Knew the lines had holes when I bought it and would need to get fixed. Opening the tray, one of the lines were hanging by a thread, the end going into the carbon completely decayed. The other tube...

    Custom/Hybrid WHATS IT WORTH ???

I made the mistake of putting together a spreadsheet of everything you need to build a bare hull... The cost of the parts you don't think about really add up

    Lightweight batteries

I love my WPS. Going on 2 seasons with no problems other than the 'charge indicator lights' don't work as well as they used to. It's in a charging system, and topping it off or before winter storage I use a Lith charger. I heard good things about Deltran's Lith battery, and for $149 w/free...

I sanded a lot, then more, then even more.... Did use filler as the final step (cabosil + epoxy).... And more sanding

    First time build - FX-1

Great work on the glue, it's nasty when airborne. On my FX1 I went over all of them mostly for looks. I also filled in the bondline so the sides would be smooth.

Other Hitch Hauler Lets see everyone's Hitch Hauler pics and setups

I use that hitch tightener and it works very well. Without it my hauler rocks in the hitch receiver and I used to use pump shims to reduce the movement but the hitch tightener works way better. I recommend it for sure

Yep. You have to trim the back and side lip near the hood seal, and cut the hood liner.

Interest in a GPS locater for your jetski or powersport utility ?

I would be interested... For my car. The hard wired locators are too easy to cheat. Drive onto hauler, disconnect battery, drive away. Happened to my neighbor.
