Could be the reeds, worth a check when pulling the carbs apart.

Spring and a tight pole for me in surf, Gives me back ache having to hold it up and you know it won't move when i do a no handed roll (one day).

The surf at the RNR 7 was huge and that final at Surf slam was sick to watch. Brock has no fear and those ruler flips are incredible.

I would'nt say this is my biggest height but i think it's a great picture all the same.

So judging by the replies i've come to a conclusion that there's no real answer to this as everyone has thier own needs when it comes to a set up.

Can't do that where i ride sadly as the tides are huge....We get movement of up to 9 meters so the beach is always changing.

That's my current thinking and a ride buddy is just about to go down that route. I have been offered a Dasa 900 10 mil so maybe that with 46's will be a good combo.

Zack that's some write up mate, thanks for that. Completely makes sense when you put it like that. So, thinking it through I need a competition motor I can run without the worry of running short on fuel. For where I ride I need a motor that will do 1hr 30 mins so sadly I'm never going to have...
