There's already a 5mm 61x motor been made by Loki and it's pretty good from what I've heard.
He's doing 62t case and cylinder Motors to so they should be better still. 61x makes such a good surf motor tho, that's why I use one.

Have been there after being towed with my ski upside down on the slipway....Its a right PITA! I think the easiest option is having some cable ties in your hull then just pop your hood and fold over the cooling lines and secure before the tow.....easy to cut off then when you get back.
He's started making a 5mm stroker engine from either 61x or 62t motors. Coming out a fair price but he's only just started doing them so is still doing lots of testing.
Price wise the 148 is going to be the cheaper option and Loki customs are doing 5mm stroker motors now for low money, Can go to 800cc on the motor i have now using the same head barrels, cases and carb. I think i'm going to try that option first then if that's not enough i'll sell the motor and...
So i ride 100% surf and have been getting competative over the last year so i naturally want to up my game as i plan to compete in a 3 IFWA Euro rounds in 2016.
My current set up is Rickter fr2 evo 701 ported 61x with 48 novi B pipe and 144 solas mag 14/18 skat.
I'm getting enough height on my...
So would a square cable fit my evo? I'm guessing so, Just asking as they are cheaper here i think. RN cables to buy are £125 ($180 roughly)....Yes parts are annoyingly more expensive over here.
Did the same trying to flip my old jet....Huge wave and no rotation ended with 2 mounts and smashed nose cone. I've got GP800 mounts shimmed down and had them nearly 2 years without any breaking and i still flop occasionally now :(
Sick riding Zane, seen your stuff on instagram and FB. Proves you don't need a nig motor to throw out big tricks in the surf. I've got the same ski with a ported 701 61X motor and get pretty big if i hit the right waves.
Just curious, do you run tubbies on your ski?
More work done on the van today, just the roof and proper lighting then onto the custom bed with sound system and water tank for flushing the ski after riding.
