Got the pump shoe out. Seemed like it was sealed in with bondo. I have never done a pump shoe so I do not know what to expect. Do I just sand down the surface until it's smooth and glue it back it? What glue do you use?

Put a new coil in and same thing happening. I checked my check valve and I can suck air through it and blow through it. I tried someonelses check valve before I left the lake and it continued to do the same thing. Could there be water in my gas that is causing this?

Not fouling plugs and no exhaust leak well that i know of. carb was just rebuilt along with the motor. and the one way value is good.

Could it be the CDI going bad? It is pretty freaking old pushing 15 years.
