you might try calling TPWD office and ask them. they've been very helpful in the past when I've had registration questions I'm not sure if Rickter issues a MSO with their hulls - so you might try asking Skinnyman how he got his new ski registered.

I'll check tonight and see if I have a relay. I remember having one that I thought was bad and I replaced it with a new one. It ended up testing out as good afterwards. I might still have it, but for some reason I'm thinking I might have given it to AssJoel.

I wonder if the paint didn't bond to your cases very well and if a primer would have helped. you might try experimenting
