I'd tear the engine down and go through everything as has been suggested, but thats me. Keep in mind though that going this route means there will be some $$ spending, so be ready for that. It may not be absolutely necessary, yet. Delaying this work though increases your risk of more serious...
Looked through my old pics but could not find any good pics with closeups of the chinpad. I did find the instructions that blowsion emailed to me back in 2008.
I attached a screenshot from my phone. Send me ur email and ill send u the PDF.

i was bored so i modeled this quick on Solidworks. Dimensions are not all accurate but it gives a visual idea of what DAG is suggesting.
basically an adapter with mm threads on one end locking the pisser to the hull, and NPT threads on the other end to fit standard barbed fittings. if its made...
when you check in your ski as luggage, wont you need to clear customs at the airport in the destination country?
i know the customs guys here would have a field day if they opened the duffel to find a ski in there!!
The blowsion "glove fit" covers used to come with instructions to modify the stock chinpad plastic and foam so the cover would fit. I had done this to my stock pad and couple years ago. If i remember correctly you have to trim off about 0.5" off the front and then shave down the foam to the...
Lee stone!! Heel clicker backflip! Glad i saw that live. The commentator had a hard time keeping up with calling the tricks.

second pic in post #1 shows a VERY clean looking flywheel. front crank seal failures i've seen get that whole area pretty dirty. unless the stator grommet failed almost immediately after the crank seal failed.
i'm agree with @Harbor and i'm curious to see if anything came loose in there.
the wires for the overheat sensor circuit are black and pink.
the purpose of that sensor is to protect the motor by cutting power if the motor starts to overheat. if the sensor is not installed into the cylinder head it should have no effect on your engines performance. (assuming the sensor...
there are different types of primer pumps. if your just worried about looks, i find that the bulb types look better than the big plunger styles.
if the primer is already properly installed i would not remove it. they do come in handy sometimes.
Installed the cable this morning and it worked. Still ordering the proper replacement though.
Fitment was not really an issue. This cable was about 3" longer than the original so to compensate I routed the cable behind the water box outlet instead of in front. I did feel a bit less throw but I...
Problem solved...for now
There was a small loose obstruction in the pilot jet on the rear carb. Cleaned it out and reassembled. Ski ran properly afterwards.
Thanx all for the help.
@Speleopower, @Vumad, @mybad I agree fully about the needles and that proper carb cleaning requires disassembly...
Hoping I can get some opinions on what to look for to remedy a bogging issue on a 2013 bone stock Superjet, no mods what so ever.
Symptoms:
Hard start when cold: choke helps sometimes, other times need to pour a bottle cap of fuel into carbs to start
Once started idle is more or less OK until...
What, if anything, will I be sacrificing by installing in a RN? Less throw? Harder to route through the engine bay?
I'll be ordering a new cable but since I already have this one I want to use it for a weekend or two until the new one arrives.
Will an SBT cable with part number 26-3403 fit a 2004 RN Superjet.
I think that part number might be for a squarenose but i need to confirm.
Thanx
