ok if i replace pump bearings, and leave the shaft and midshaft as is with the slight play (assuming worn splines) how does that sound. I'll recheck my engine alignment cause it was most likely the cause (replaced engine mounts about a month ago). Can i keep running it with the slightly worn...

no play in the coupler, alignment is good too. Worn splines would make sense but how does that happen?? Also how do I check the midshaft bearings. I'm assuming ill have to drop the pump so I'll get started on that. But once I'm in there what should I look for?

since we already know we're looking at new pistons, cylinders and head...anyone have good suggestions on a place to purchase those parts. not necessarily looking for aftermarket, stock should be fine...

we're working on the ski right now...so far we've confirmed that the piston rings are shot (that was expected) pulling the cylinders right now (they are scored pretty bad)...i'll keep posting as we progress...pics to follow soon

sorry no diagram but i just installed a b-pipe on an '08 ski, so i will try and explain in words (keep in mind, cooling on '08 may be different) if i'm wrong guys feel free to correct me... out the right side of the pump into hull from firewall on right side of coupler into exhaust manifold...

thanx anyways, could not really see any contact on piston, but only looked through spark plug hole (end of day, not much light) first thing we'll do is pull the head. see what the pistons look like. i'll post some pics if i can take some

i believe so BR8ES no problems for about a year so definitely not the wrong plug...

no need to reinforce in the middle up to 4ft. with the ski on the stand it barley defflects half an inch. there is no way the PVC will bust under your ski with those dimensions. even though i would not like it, if the ski does drop its no more than 5-6" off the ground. (not a good argument...
