It is a 2 hour drive for me. Driving from the the airport would probably add 15-20 minutes. Seems like you could find somewhere closer to fly into. What about San Luis?
I am going to put together a surf Blaster. What needs to be re-enforced?
Does the stock steering setup need to be replaced?
Do they take on a lot of water?

I had some cheap 12" wheels with crapy 3" wide trailer tires. They would dig in to the sand like pizza cutters. So I picked up some aluminium 15's with some 8.5' wide low profile tires. Trailer does not dig in to the sand anymore and it rails corners now too! :biggthumpup:

Hmmm... Maybe. Going to ride both days so it depends on the tides. Really is much more fun to drive the twisties on the way to the beach with this rig. But I don't want to get it buried.
