The Pathfinder is a 2005 4X4. It drives good and has plenty of power. I just drive like a moron. I have to keep the Pathfinder for those high tide days and for towing to a couple of offroad riding spots.

Check out my new tow vehicle. BMW 335 coupe. Had to order a hitch from Germany for it. I towed my ski to Pismo today and she tows nice! The hitch has a verticle receiver so when you remove the tow arm there is nothing to see. Car is a twin turbo with 300 horses and I still got 22MPG towing the...

During the summer it is never smaller than 3' and can be up to 6'+ Is it worth a 2000 mile drive? Hmmm. Maybe.

Winter is epic! Summer is small wind swell. Still much better than riding at a lake!

We ride a couple good sections of rapids and occasionally smack a boulder. It is a real challenge to go up the rapids. It is rush and well worth the risk. :biggrin: I think I am gonna build a beater square just for the river.

The more stand ups the better! Next time I ride their I will shoot you a PM. We ride the river behind Hart park and ride up river past Rancheria road. We hit some rapid sections that you will want to wait awile before you attempt. We also ride down by truxtun if the water is high enough.

I will be hitting BV mid week pretty soon. Usually go out late afternoon. We also ride the kern when they let enough water out around June. It is a good time but hard on the skis.

Yes he is! He just runs a short pole rope and pulls up on the bars to hold him in the tray. That dude can surf ride.

I have the X4. They are nice for flat water. But I do not like them in surf. I got locked in and could not bail out a couple times. Not good for big air in my opinion. Sergio was going to come out with some that were more for surf riding. Hope that helps.

Haha...I always sink my boat when the big waves hit. But I took your advice Mike.."Just hold on to the ski. Even when your getting rolled/pounded" I only loose the ski now when I've bailed out of some crazy attempt at big air. :biggthumpup:

96-07 Superjets are all the same. You now have the same ski as most of us! This is the best ski made for Freeride/freestyle. Now go ride it. :biggthumpup:
