The 760 domes I have are 34cc. I wanted to stay in the pump gas range of 170-180. This head came off a 85mm motor I had that was ported real crazy. It was also decked and ran a spacer plate(stock stoke). Wanted to recycle the good parts if I can.

I am putting together a motor with 83mm pistons, 62T case/61X cylinder. Can I use a head with 760 domes on this setup? Pros/Cons?

Bad Bones made some cool stuff back in early 90's. They made billet stuff for kawis- Heads,water boxes ect. Did not know they made any modded carbs.

How do you tell the difference? I have a stock looking set(do not know where they came from) or an SRE modified set. They look the same accept for the SRE mods.

The rods/crank as well as the sleeves appear to be stock. This motor was in my ski when I bought it a year ago. Its had the crap rode out of it every weekend since than.

Not bad. The rod dented the case bottom about a half inch by 2 inches. However the case bottom is from a 650 motor so might as well replace it. I took the cheap route a month ago when this motor drove a piston out the bottom of the cases. Should have tossed the lot than. The upper case...

The crank went and took out the case bottom. I had just rebuilt it to and the crank looked O.K.. Now the cylinder(61x) is bored to 85 mm and needs to go to 85.5. Which means it's junk! Can you bore one out that far? Basically a total loss. :banghead:

Nice boat! And welcome back! That is the hull set-up I should have picked! But got the SXR bottom instead. Handled really wierd until I put 20 pounds in the nose. SJ bottom is hard to beat for surf riding. Let me know how you like those sponsons..Looks like the hot setup.

But the RAD's are all gone. Hope another company steps up and makes billet cranks again.

I give the round noses three different values. This is for stock ski's of same condition/wear. 96-97 2-2.5k Costs money to lose the purple, Ski's are getting old. 98-03 2.5-3.5k Love the blue 04-06 4-5.5k Black looks sweet.

O-side to pismo is about a 4.5 hour drive at best. Pismo is my beach but the weather at that time of year is very unpredictable. Wish it was not one or the other.

I missed this post. Last time I rode there we toted the skis down some rocks by where the RVs park along the road. Where the ramp was is probably 5 miles north of this spot. Looks like we are talking about the same spot. The ramp makes it easy! Glad to here its back.

Yep. Same enzo. We were going to hook up for some rides in the past but it never worked out. I would be launching about 3 miles north of the harbor with the tote. Do you know if they rebuilt that wood ramp by the oil pier?
