My TPE stock stroke 964 will yank your arms off. A well set up (aka pay @Philip Clemmons to tune) will blow your socks off on how well it can run.
Reliability and cheap cranks was why i went stock stroke. :)
Fixed it for you.
I've had my TPE 964 for 2 seasons. I've never had any down time and it pulls like a train from idle to WOT.
There have been a lot of people who've ridden my ski and have been shocked it's not a big stroker.

Keep the barrier to entry as cheap as possible.
With a big set of huevos, a kid should be able to compete in this...
Hey man, this is 'murica. If you tow anything bigger than a red rider wagon with anything smaller than a 3500 dually diesel, you are a communist... At least that's what boating websites tell me...
So let's say we were to go to the spring ride, and camp at freeman park. Do you know if we can still leave our ezups and stuff at the beach, or does everything have to move to the "camp sites" at night?
Mine's a comp length pole with the adj plate pulled all the way out. I'd almost prefer to get a mid length, with the plate pushed all the way in for flatwater, and pulled all the way out for surf...
