    The Baddest JetSki never made!

I've never seen a tail section like that so its probably the pipe that came on that ski originally. the exhaust manifold is going to have the same bolt pattern to fit any newer twin and pjs specialty ski stuff has the 2 bolt head pipe mounting.

    The Baddest JetSki never made!

its going to be a turd powered by a 650 that has 50hp stock, when it came with a 135hp setup. needs an sxr800 motor ported to the moon with all the bells and whistles attached , to get anywhere near 135. that prop looks like a skat in front and a stock 650 in back. if its got the pjs ripturn...

XS 900SS What impeller for freestyle? Help

the pump stuffer does help. it makes it a big hub pump just like a mag but with less and longer veins. it does close up the area behind the prop for less turbulence and a little better pump efficiency. you probably need to go with a smaller prop or one that isn't cut back and right against the...

XS 900SS What impeller for freestyle? Help

those veins are not very beat up at all and you aint going to notice any performance loss with those tiny dings and chip. if you think that's beat up, you may also be wrong about the damage to the prop. I don't think any prop /pump combo is going to help that heavy hulls freestyle ability and...

RRP handle pole, use spring or no???

if you take a small propane torch to any spring that holds the pole up to high or doubles as a catapult , you can take a bit of tension out and make it perfect. i've done it several times. takes 2 seconds and you don't have to remove or cut anything

Test to make sure charging system is working

hillbilly trouble shooting 101 is anything over battery voltage is charging. if the battery is fully charged, it may be hard to tell if the system is working. hold the red button down and crank it for a minute so it don't start right up. that should lower voltage. an amp meter is the proper tool...

    750 electrical advice

sounds like the starter solenoid is either bad and making a constant connection inside it, or the wires that actuate it are making a connection , actuating it. if you open the box and disconnect the red wire to the solenoid, it wont crank unless its internally bad. trouble shooting 101

    1990 sn 650sj ride plate/intake grate

airiated water causes cavitation with all stock pumps. that why the mag pump was used. you can ride right up the guy in front of yous ass and you wont lose power. if the rapids are full of air bubbles, its going to cavitate. props spin on air and bite on solid water. a top loader intake grate...

    diagnose steering cable failure photo?

it could have been incorrect adjustment over time, pulling it past where it should be pulled, creating excess tension. that looks to be the cable with the blue cover. not sure if that one is the solid wire in there or the multi strands. I know red housings have multi strands and those are...

    Should I buy this superjet

regardless of what anybody previously said, $2300 for a clean stock SN is just about the going rate this year in CA. sure , you can find them cheaper , but i'll get 23-2500 out of the ones I sell. stock graphics that are clean are a selling plus.

Freestyle what are the best freestyle boots

my turf is so worn out that the wresting shoes that I normally wear, slip on me, so instead of replacing the turf, I just got some under armor cleats. I haven't tried them with my 1200 hurricane yet on flatwater but in the surf they work awesome. I don't see wearing wrestling shoes ever again...

Yet another jetting thread!! (Need some basic input for 2 different configurations).

130s are what they come with . factory pipe says put in 135s and leave the pilots at 70. on a few occasions I had to put 75 -85 pilots in there to lose the low speed bog and get the screws turned back in. I don't know why I had to put bigger pilots and I done care why. I just tuned out the...

Stock or Factory Pipe RN waterbox?

there aren't double welds on the nipples, so those haven't been rewelded for whatever reason and those aint OEM welds. when they get cut open, nobody removes any of the first weld, so when it gets rewelded, you can see the first weld in there too. you have to assume nobody knows nothing. if you...

Stock or Factory Pipe RN waterbox?

you guys are all clueless. that aint no OEM waterbox. the welds at the nipples look like crap, unlike a stock box. and the middle seam aint welded right either. that's an aftermarket box for sure. it aint a modified oem box. I've seen many of modded OEMs and once its cut down the middle and...

MSD enhancer / Adjustable Rev Limiter pros & cons

I went from MSD total loss to enhancer with jetenitics flywheel on one of my skis and didn't notice any loss in power. the enhancer took a crap and I put in a modded stock cdi and noticed no difference. motor was ported, head, 44s , b pipe and the rest. nothing is going to make a very noticeable...
