I used a Rad dudes sj exhaust hose cut down with their incorporated bend where i needed it ,fits nice . no couplers needed , just the inside hose diameter of the rad dudes hose is a bit off (@2.25 vs 2.5 on the box and boat) but with some soapy persuasion will work .
