Oh and as a disclaimer... riding a PWC at after sun down is generally illegal and will draw the attention of the local water authorities. Your results may vary.
At a recent free ride the topic came up on the best way to BF, I.E. Tuck or Extend.
I'd like people who BF on a regular basis to chime in, i'm interested to hear the feedback.
Option A:
"Tucking" Hit wake, pull bars, do not extend but still look back to spot landing. Thought being that...
Superbrightleds.com has a great selection of LED strips with 3m adhesive on the back. From there it's just running the wire to a switch and then to the battery.
I rode a hurricane today and having mild chines makes a huge difference for this trick. I can do a solid 180 on my chan, but I believe the very aggressive chines make it tough to go farther with my 771.
FWIW, i get the best 180's from blipping the throttle, nose up, nose down then pin it and...
After riding a hurricane today (for the first time) with a slightly stronger parts list (mag, JM718 I think) I find that hard to believe. Not saying its BS, just surprised.
But I won't argue he's riding like a pro though. God Speed young Skywalker.
Sportfish is my hero.... crackin me up man. Too funny.
Back to business though. I think you should make it smooth.
FWIW, the ride plate on my Chan (Backie, not Becky) is glass and its thick as hell. It fits pretty good, but as you're finding with your extensive research, not all Chans are...
I know Oklahoma is a big state, but I I'm certain there is a guy with a nice mild Rickter with a 771 in who would let you take it for a spin. Otherwise, come to a free ride on the gulf coast with the Texas guys. There will be one in October.
my JM781 was meager in my RN hull, but when I stuck it in a 75lb Backie Chan with a Solas Mag it feels like absolute monster.
For flat, hull all the way.
The first one it looks like you barely pulled with your arms. The majority of your follow through, or what completed the rotation was pushing with your legs, correct?
Great videos. Very helpful.
I don't know what my consumption per hour is, but I have a JM781 with dual 38's also, (in a Carbon Kevlar Chan) and I'm amazed with how little fuel it uses compared to others I ride with.
For two seasons I would come back in from chasing boats, concerned that i'm almost out of fuel only to...
I just did a little reading about SPS... thats awful Tom :( . My heart goes out to your son and I hope the doctors can help relieve his symptoms. Its not until you have kids of your own that hearing about other peoples kids having health issues really pulls at your heart strings.
I dug up this...
There is a much longer answer to this. But no, you cannot modify (legally) a gun to be select fire.
The long answer. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firearm_Owners_Protection_Act
Hey hey hey take it easy on the caps lock there cheif...
LOL JK, the rest of your post was on point....
This is OP's second post in this thread. Perhaps some people missed it. I even had to go re-read it.... so yeah lets get on the same page.
OP has two skis currently
OP is considering...
What everyone else said. Buy a 4k superjet thats built and then save your pennies for a AM hull after you've outgrown or think you've outgrown the stock hull...
You're getting advise from a lot of people who have bought something twice or even three times and look back wishing they knew then...
